Anyone got an up to date email list of nationals sports picture desks you send to ?

Realised mines a few years old...i think I have been missing the daily start for yonks :(

Am gonna compile the list and tidy it up before I go to the Burnley v West Ham match.. on my list todo.. will email when sorted.. Dont think its gonna be much diff.. one extra though.. will sort you out later mate :)

Dont give him any of mine Tony, cheeky get was hogging the telly last night during the Fiji Ireland game with his dead badger headwear,

Had a nightmare tonight :( My laptop has 3 usb ports.. two went dead ages ago.. tonight... as soon as you put the dongle in. the laptop instantl dies :(

So now no usb so cant send pitchside.. waste of time tonight :(

Going to local pooter repair shop in morning..

Mate, is it still that Dell i sold you, dont waste money on tech guys, just buy a £10 adapter card with 2 x USB 3.0 ports on it, they dont run at USB 3 speed but it will max out the USB on the MB so about 20% faster than USB 2 if everything is OK

This one is what i used, you just slot it into the express card slot and install the driver which comes on a disc

yer not the first one to suggest that mate.. however I have a CF card reader in that slot :(
 
express card and new usb reader yer racking up to 40 quid..

what about the pc card slot on the other side.. has thata ctually got any use?

the two usbs on one side went one at a time and now the one on its own.. if i put the dongle in then the laptop switches off.. but if i put in then turn laptop on it works.. however slight movement anf ...off :(

PS this is a brill laptop..its been famously trampled on..its been dropped more times than i care to rember.. knocked.. got wet...its been through the mill other laptios wouldnt have survived :)

I feel your pain. My USB 2 slots work fine.

I have 3/4 size express card slot on my Thinkpad. Bought a USB 3 card for it. There is no way of locking it in, so it pops out when you push a cable in. Ok pusg it back in, but halfway through transfers it just stops. Damn thing.

On an old laptop I had there was a switch to lock the card in.
 
I ahve a card reader in the express slot..was looking into pc card to usb as thats available..

however

Gary Coyle to the rescue who has the same laptop but wiht no HD or battery.. just swap my stuff and should work and hes giving it away.. although I wont allow that.. we will see as I am going his house tomorrow :)

I've not sent anything into national newspaper's in the past but since I'll be covering Stevenage v Stourbridge in the FA Cup I decided it was time
 
As normal i will stand corrected but if you dont have a dataCo licence you cant send as a indvidual but sure kippax will put me right
 
I have a dataco licence but I've not had chance to use it yet this season as I've had lower league commitments

You guys need to bear in mind that too many full lists kicking around can be doing the sender out of business if youre attending the same games.
 
Maybe I' m getting the wrong end of the stick, but are you guys seriously turning up here and asking for people to give you a key bit of info they use to try to make a living so that you don't have to do the leg work and can then turn up and try to do them out of any potential earnings?! Madness!
 
It's a forum! If others don't want to share what they know then they won't, whether it's this list, workflow tips, camera settings or whatever.

Youre right Alan, its all about sharing, KIPAX, BG, BM, myself and Asterix all know each other and have no issues with sharing with each other as we have all shared with each other in the past, where as ............................
