I'm on the verge of getting a supertele (my 70-200 does the job but tighter cropping would help).

What is the etiquette regarding multiple sports photographers at an event? Say a given cycling track day, or road race, or some other session.

I wouldn't want to undercut someone else who shows up to shoot but how would both people be able to make money?

First you have to tell us who your thinking of selling to? Media? public?

I had only thought about the public and the people taking part

Presuming your allowed to sell them then you do so at your usual prices OR the price you set yourself to turn a profit... You don't worry about what others are selling at.. Unless you want to be competative.. I mean surely the point is to sell pics..you wont sell many if your just going to worry about other people not selling...... otherwise why be there? :)

PS This is just my view on the question asked :)

Would also be useful to know what you intend to shoot as many sports governing bodies require you are accredited to shoot pitch/trackside some dont even allow cameras into stadiums etc, etc, some bodies also have restrictions on who you can sell photos to, some even require you provide proof you have a media outlet to sell to.
