Quite pleased today, managed to get my self in with a sports agency, going to be shooting Peterboro v Middlesboro footy this Sat, bit nervous now lol.

Feels good when hard work starts paying off!

Congrats!!! thats great I'm just building a portfolio and still playing Saturdays so not ready to approach the agencys yet.

I'm sure all will be fine if they have taken you on you must be good enough, my only fear with the agency is not getting the pics but making sure the technology works when sending the pics off, I expect they need them straight away? so it might be worth a few trial runs on the tech front, Best of luck and let us know how you get on. Cheers Dean

Cheers guys - as far as I know its a simple FTP upload, cant really go wrong there! Ive done sports work before but this is first time being self employed, thats where the nerves are from, im sure ill be fine when I get there...;)

FTP pah! thats a doddle :D (or so i've heard) mind you thats if your dongle works. I had two last night and neither worked :bang:

ftp and email are both as simple from pitchside (ftp slightly easier).. the advantage of ftp is that you can see its arrived (saves having to phone in and check) and for my money its more stable.

If your deadline is after the game (ie league paper or locals and dont need to send pitchside) then I always find where the nearest macdonalds is before setting off to a game.. if all else fails just drive in there and post..
