I'm doing a naked calendar for our rugby club as a fundraiser and didn't really want to use the rugby club to do it in. Too stark and bland really. Does anyone have any ideas of where would accomodate us?
 
Just thinking - behind the bar, by the trophy cabinet, in the shower, on the physio table ... the opportunities seem endless. The brave can go outside ...
 
They might if our facilities weren't so magnolia. The ideas I have just don't fit in anywhere with the club and it's surroundings
 
How about getting a studio paper background? Set up in the club house ??
 
That's not what I had in mind either. Really looking for a venue with gym etc that would accomodate
 
Nudist location? They'd be used to naked flesh so would be fewer gawpers to fend off!
 
It's quite an exclusive place there so I very much doubt they'd accomodate us (they overpriced us for the dinner and dance so we wouldn't pick it) and if they did, it would be very expensive and would negate our fundraising efforts. That's why I thought I'd ask in here to see if anyone knew of any venues that would be ok with it.

Yep, that's the one, it's near my hospital.

But doubt it's a sporting venue really
 
I still think that there will be lots of places at your club,

Bar
Changing rooms & Showers
Physio's room
Ref's Room
Gym (if you have one)
Groundsman's shed
Kitchen hatch (all rugby clubs have these)
The Goal posts
Naked man marking the pitch out.
Entrance hall/doorway
Scrum Machine

Remember that lighting bland rooms is critical, you may need some strobes to use as spots etc.
 
Again, yes there are some of those, but I don't want to do it at the club!

We aren't that big a club so no gym, the bar is not great photographically. We have a clubhouse with changing rooms and a shower. I just have other ideas that I want to do. It's not that I'm stuck for ideas, just want a different venue

If you're after a gym then perhaps one in a venue that isn't a gym ie a posh block of flats or some businesses have them that might be available at a quiet time. Or, if you have a fire station nearby they usually have gyms and they understand men getting their kit off for photo shoots:naughty:
 
Thanks for the suggestion, not many blocks of flats round here but I have a list of hotels with gyms that I'm going to phone. Fire station is a good idea but I don't think any of our close ones have gyms, they're mostly retained stations but I can always ask at the main ones, I used to work for the fire service so might still know some of the managers

Still not totally what I was after but it might have to do

Ha ha, it's my local rugby club that my husband plays for and I shoot for

and that was terrible :lol::lol:
