Spiders

We lived in Australia for a couple years and heard many stories about car accidents being caused because of huntsman spiders getting into cars and appearing on dashboards or dropping in laps, I used to poke around the car with a big stick before I got in just in case. We used to get quite a few in the house and kept a large plastic bowl for catching them ............ a pint glass just wouldn't have been big enough :eek::lol:
 
you can buy a spray made from conkers from betterware or kleeneze and it seems to work.
 
Just found some spray on amazon for just under a fiver. Will give it a go but I suspect it will be too late as they'll be bored of indoors very soon anyway.
 
Jeez! ........... Leave them be, they're just cute little spiders with baby spiders. They kill cockroaches, flies, dinosaurs and cows with TB! Badgers are safer and chickens are free to roam! ......... LET THEM LIVE, THEY ARE LOVELY, HARMLESS AND CLEAN.... and of course they are incredibly beautiful...... and taste nice ;)

And have enough leg portions to feed the whole family.

I'm a big girl's blouse around spiders, but generally just leave them be. They don't do any harm other than unnerve me. It does make insect macro photography all the more exciting.

What, are badgers like clubcard points? I took about twenty badgers into Tesco's once and despite the stripey snouts, the bar code readers at the checkout wouldn't recognise them...

I heard a shreek from the bathroom the other week just before the alarm went off...... staggered in the general direction of bathroom, bleary eyed to see my fiancee sitting on the loo seat cover with her feet up on the bath.

In fairness the 8 legged offender did then appear from behind the toilet wearing boots and using my razor! (I swear I spotted a tattoo too :lol: )

Went and grabbed a glass and coaster, successfully trapped the thing and got a picture of it while trapped...... this thing was rearing up at me showing it's fangs and everything :bat:

Incidentally, I got bitten by a spider last year. I was at a wedding and it was terrorising people in the lobby so I picked it in an attempt to evict it but then felt a sharp stinging sensation in one of my fingers....... This soofab1tch was hanging off my finger!!

With that I flicked it to the floor and it got the size 13 treatment :lol:

No one believed it bit me though :'(

I was driving/shooting that day.......

Funnily enough though, soon after then I was able to shoot strings from my wrists and had an uncanny knack to walk up walls :lol:
 
Mine have been going straight up the hoover! Seven big ones this week.

Now I just have to hope they don't feed of the crumbs left in the hoover and work together to take over the house!
