I hate camera straps... kind of like how I hate tripods. I own and use them of course...several of each in fact. As far as straps are concerned I've owned/used CarrySpeed (destroyed the neoprene ones, but I still have/use the "extreme" version), Black Rapid (wore thru the zinc alloy clips), Op-Tech (best buy IMO), and Peak Designs. I'm mostly using Op-Tech and Peak Designs now... but I still don't "like" them. They get in the way, particularly when one camera is in a bag, not in use, or on a tripod. And no matter how easy or fast a strap is to remove, I still find it annoying and I still have to find somewhere to put it.
My preferred system is a CarrySpeed folding plate (F1 or F2) attached to the camera and the SpiderPro Holsters. The F2 is both arca swiss and Manfrotto compatible. I attach straps to it using a StrapClamp (with tether). And the pin is compatible with the SpiderPro Holster (attached to a belt or my ThinkTank Speed Freak). I particularly like the holsters, but none of the Spider plate options...
But not using a camera strap can lead to hand strain, especially if you have old hands with injuries, bursitis, arthritis like I do. To alleviate this I have tried several hand straps over the years, including Peak Designs, Joby, and various others. And none worked particularly well. Primarily, they are all overly bulky, they flop around, and they aren't particularly comfortable.
And then there's the SpiderPro Hand Strap... I was hesitant to buy one, primarily because I wasn't expecting it to be much batter than any other version out there, and they are rather expensive comparatively. But I was wrong. It's comfortable with minimum bulk. And my hand slides right into place and stays there. That's huge to me, it doesn't require two hands to get it into place, nor does it require adjustment/readjustment. There is an additional security strap, but I don't use it. I don't find it necessary and it only slows things down... but it's included if you want that. If I have a complaint it's that the installation is kind of "permanent" so it adds just that bit of bulk to the camera in the bag. And I do think it is best when secured by a larger camera plate... I imagine it will flop around more if it is only secured with the included washer/screw instead.
FWIW, I'm using them with a gripped D810 and a D5... yes, I said "them"... I like it enough that I bought a second one.
I think I finally have my "carry system" sorted... it's only taken a bit over 3 decades to get here
