Looking for a good quality speedlight softbox with all the brackets too, any suggestions on good makes/places to get one from?

Ebay. Do not overpay. I have two cheap ones - 60x60cm and 90x90cm. Both working perfectly fine.

60x60cm costs about £30 delivered, 90x90 is slightly more expensive.
 
I bought mine from ebay a while ago - you couldn't distinguish the end result from studio lights. The ball joint is annoying, but that's a minor issue. I will be getting some more soon. I'd recommend 90cm as my 60cm is more or less limited to head and shoulders portraits.
 
Take a trip to Lastolite in Leicester and have a look at the wide range they have. It will only take you 30-40 mins to get there
