Hello

I've got a pair of my old Bose companion speakers, and I want to plug them into my tv - but I'm getting confused as non of the Audi cables appear to fit.. Can anyone help please?

The cream cables jack will link one speaker to the other. Then the black cable from the powered speaker to the TV I would imagine.

The sockets you are showing on the back of the TV are for audio IN , you can't use them for speakers. Has the TV got a headphone socket ?

It definitely is not, unless the meaning of arrows has changed....
Think it is for the audio in component if using the video component in adjacent.
Either headphone socket as already mentioned or introduce an amp.
You're right  :$

Teach me for looking on my phone

Damn! I think the tv is too old to have an audio in! :(

Doesn't look like you have any outputs at the back. Your only hope is a headphone jack at the front or side.

Ahh... So there is no chance is there with this? :(

Either use the headphone socket or try a scart to phono adapter - something like this ... https://www.amazon.co.uk/SCART-Adapter-PHONO-S-VHS-OUT/dp/B000JJ5FLG

If the scart has audio out (should do) then the above adapter (or something similar should work) - I did a similar thing a few years ago by hooking the TV to our stereo, I purchased a cheap scart cable - cheap because the actual plastic cowling round the scart metal bit was a clip and plastic screw over, so I could easily open it - then either solder on to the connections that correspond to audio out from the scart connection or the cable if it's already connected and away you go.

Worked for me, cost me all of £2 a few years ago with a little time - I'll see if I can find the wiring diagram of the scart block...

Thank you for the link! Slight breakthrough... I discovered that when I turn the TV round... there are a log more sockets - including a headphone one! :O However... when I plug the white headphone jack in... I still get no sound, but the speaker does make a bit of fuzz sound? I’ve attached a drop box link to pics.. :) Mucho thanks for helps!
