Anyone else been getting more spam emails of late?

I have had my email address some 15 years and this has always been minimal. Literally like 1 a month. In the last month or so there has been a lot more, around 4-5 a day. I always use a different (gmail) account for when i have to use an email address to do something and only use my proper one for 'genuine' reasons (i.e. buying something or using a trusted site/subscribe to email)
 
What domain name? My btinternet.com ones that I've had for donkeys years got so bad I had to delete them. I still get a lot on other domains, but they vary depending on how much I use them. Just lately I've started using Apple's hide your email facility when registering on new sites/services.
 
I have been getting a lot more junk emails recently too. Lots of reminders to renew non-existent antivirus software licences, it's also amazing how many prizes I have won or been awarded.

II have a near-dormant BT internet account that gets a few, many more come to my Outlook account.
 
I used to get one or two a day, mostly FB things, but I am now getting a dozen a day - McAfeespam, random package deliveries etc. Most of them are going straight to Junk though.

I've had a big increase in spam such as your parcel delivery and spurious prizes won at Curry's
 
Same here in the last few weeks, such as, repossessed houses in the USA, a missed delivery, I've been chosen for a prize, the IRS have got a refund for me etc.

It seems to happen now and again, weeks will go by with virtually nothing, then they turn up for a few weeks, then it all goes quiet again.

Whenever I renew my car or home insurance or deal with anyone other than Amazon or ebay on line I seem to get a spirt of junk mail. I report them or block as appropriate and over the coming days and weeks they reduce.
 
I find it all quite amusing on one level, but angry at the thought of vulnerable people getting conned.

In the last few days I've received top secret encrypted messages from the CIA, I've won a Walmart special draw and Irene from Romania saw my picture and fell in love instantly.
 
There also seems to be an increase in spam accounts on Flickr, all from young ladies(?), none of them have any photographs or followers.
 
My best set of spam was a series of 8 mails from what can only have been the most beautiful set of identical octuplets ever born - same pose and clothing on all 8 despite them having different names (Svetlana, Alexandra etc.). All they wanted was the air fare and a little spending money.

I go through a spate of 'new' followers on Flickr, I get the notification and I notice I get unfollowed rather quickly too (maybe my images aren't interesting enough), but the notification lets me check their account which usually is empty...

My spam follows the line of most of other responders on here... do get offers for Viagra and Cialis from time to time, penis extensions plus 'offers' from Hot Ukrainian or Russian beauties,...
 
Glad it’s just not me then. What annoys me I get lots straight into my focused inbox(hotmail), many originating from America and France. Just get the feeling my address was sold having signed up to a few legit companies recently.
The junk folder gets filled with similar to what others have described……even had one of those €30 million offers the other day, not had one of those for a while
 
For some reason 90%+ of my spam is in French. Same ol' crap just en français
 
Oh yeah it’s not just me then , must have a warehouse in America full of Milwaukee drills I’ve won , and if I’d responded to some my widget would be down to my knees so no wonder I also get Fxxxbuddy requests . Problem is there 40 years to late
 
What is it with all the crap purporting to be from Currys lately
I don't want a Cream coloured Smeg kettle or a Philips Air Fryer
