Thanks - you are right, lighting was poor. Not much I could have done about it though, as I don't own a flash (other than on-board) and the shots were taken in the evening, under multiple tungsten lights on in the loungeI really need a studio!

I started out with 2 x £4.99 desk lights, you know the ones that are on a flexible neck?
Then a roll of white wallpaper for background and moving the lights nearer or farther away and the use of kitchen roll as a diffuser pegged on the edge of the lights as necessary![]()

They do all look slightly soft to me though.
Not sure if that's insufficient sharpening on resizing, a result of running noise reduction, a slight bit of tripod wobble on the 2nd set . . . or some combination of all three.
