Hi All,

Look for a place to hang out and learn more about gear, shoot better, learn more about post processing and hopefully get out for a few meets/shoots.

Been a long time Canon and Minolta user, currently shooting a Canon G16. But started on digital with a Dynax 7d years ago which I absolutely loved.

Will be heading to the equipment thread as I'm having a hard time choosing between the 70d and 7dmk2 for my needs - Family, nature and sports - in that order. Also looking to get into arial.

If there's anyone from Southampton or around with both 70d and 7dmk2 who wouldn't mind a weekend afternoon pint to show me/demo both cameras, I'm paying :)

Hope you enjoy yourself here...

With regards to your camera choice, if / when you put a thread up in the equipment section, don't forget to give an idea of budget, what you like to shoot, what you want the camera to do and if you can, list / give an indication why you are looking at these 2 and what is stopping you buying 1 over the other, hope this helps...

A few miles south of Southampton....... Are you on the ferry? I'm lee on the Solent! Although a Nikon user I'm always up for a trip out! I'm out in Dorset tomorrow morning for sunrise if you're interested.....

I Would say welcome...but I am from Portsmouth and apparently you are the sworn enemy according to the football types :P
