Soundcloud anyone here use it

Don't really use it per-se, but enjoying a Bakermat Winter mix on Soundcloud at the moment.
I'm sure it is worth investigating as it crops up a lot when I'm searching music, but I've not spent the time to get to know it yet.

:agree:

Its great for searching new music and uploading your own if you produce.

:)

I put some ancient demos from my "band" on there for a laugh.. Dont think they are worth sharing though!!

Here's a couple of tracks I threw together a few weeks ago while wondering whether I should just give up the guitar (again). Basic rhythm pattern via the Zoom G3 and a few layers of me in Reaper software. Bit repetitive and basic, but kept me entertained for a bit :D

Late to the party here! Started using it a couple of years ago just recording using the built-in mic on my Mac and the results were rubbish. Bought myself the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Studio bundle yesterday and gave it a quick try out last night and the difference is significant. Latest song on my profile is recorded using it, ignore the rest

obviously the 2i2 is excellent but I must say I am surprised you have pulled such good recordings from the Mac mic.

It wasn't the Mac mic, the Scarlett Studio bundle comes with a CM25 condenser mic, a good set of headphones, an xlr cable, a mic stand clip, a copy of Cubase and of course the 2i2 itself. All for £199! Ordered mine from Andertons and got a free mic boom stand

Correction, on looking again a couple of the tracks were recorded by a friend using an alesis interface and a rode nt1a mic. Apologies
