sound recorder

This has been doing my head in all day(so has the hangover from last night ,40oz of Morgans spice ...never...never..again!!!!)

Been trying to suss out a sound recorder for my PC which runs Vista home premium,probably the fuzzy head ,but i can't seem to find one for my needs ...ie...as basic as they come please . So anyone help me out ,i did do a search on here ,didn't find what i'm needing .

Should be fairly easy to sort our, just need to select he correct input

Sounds like you are trying to record what's playing on the PC, is that right?

If so, you need to setup what's known as a loopback recording. This should help:

If you are using Audacity don't forget to download LAME if you want to save your recordings as MP3

Can you do a screen grab of audacity ? The only time I couldn't get it to work was when trying on a laptop
