Sound familiar ?

I hope this is a spoof - she's been appearing in another video too, and I wonder if this is 'comedy' for want of a better expression.

Ah yeah, there's several of them; Brad Holmes making his girlfriend look stupid .... I can believe they're genuine.

Keep going Phil, and eventually it'll be all my fault :D
A light hearted dig at Jeff...

But it was after I left a discussion about the referendum at the weekend where someone was complaining about young people's behaviour, citing her kids and their mates :banghead:

I think we're beyond the point where people link their behaviour to consequences.

A point I've been making for many years, total lack of personal responsibility. But I think we disagree fully on the cause of it and don't propose to repeat that discussion here :)

We recently had an interesting discussion with our son - now 28 - about his public dismay at the outcome of the vote. He pointed out that he was entitled to express his opinion, and it was pointed out to him that his opinion was of more value if backed up by actually voting. He's never voted, being disgusted with the political system, and this may be the first time he's realised there are consequences to just walking away.

Didn't realise there had been a vote on how many slices to cut pizza into ?

And a light hearted retort as you were working through the generations, I knew you'd get to me at some point :D

You're not that old.
That's the kindest thing anyone has said to me since I bought down a pile of stone tablets from Mount Sinai :)

:D

As with many in his age group, the perception has been that voting doesn't make any difference because the political parties looked mostly the same to them (and a key reason why Corbyn appeared to have a strong appeal to many in his age group, just as Trump appeals to many Americans). It has been a very difficult perception to overcome when it came to voting over Europe - the bland greyness of present politics has tended to self-disenfranchise the young.

:(

Not seen the amount of slices a Pizza is cut into come up in any political agendas
There are plenty of political debates going on elsewhere on the forum if you want to put forward your view that
it could be a vote winner ?

I misunderstood your attempt at humour - sorry. :P

It may come as a surprise to you but even if your son had voted, the outcome wouldn't have changed.(y)

How right you are she still wouldn't have realised that 8 slices were the same amount as 12

I'm not convinced the video isn't staged anyway. Why would anyone film it?

Don't tell me it's so - I thought his vote would have carried it! I'm just so disappointed now.

They are staged, I've seen a few of the pair of them, today's was tuna steak, the other day it was the EU vote.
Still funny and rings true for 'some' :D
