Hi All (new on here)

Im sure you have been asked this thousands of times.

What Image Editing Software do you consider best ?

Mine seems to be very limited !

I need to change it.

Thanks in Advance

Andy

Adobe Lightroom 3 or any Photoshop version and Photoshop Elements that comes with Adobe Camera Raw.

If you don't want manipulation software go for Lightroom 3. It's for photography and will edit Raw data.

If cost is an issue then Elements with ACR will do almost the same only more work involved but still a very robust program.
There are many tutorials for free for all this software on youtube and Adobe itself.
Check these links to see what they can do.

Hi Andy, all people have personal preferences to what editing software they use.

I mainly use Adobe Lightroom, as it allows me to make batch adjustments quickly and organise my workflow. I have Photoshop for more advanced editing and Photomatix for my HDR work, but Lightroom is fine for me.

An alternative to Photoshop is GIMP - haven't used it myself but it seems OK to some people.

Hope this is of some help,
Zach

I used Elements 8 for a while but ultimately went for LR3 and CS5 - the latter I barely use to justify it but LR3 has completely changed my workflow and editing so if you can stretch to it I'd certainly recommend it.

I used GIMP in the old days and it's really powerful if are happy to spend the time researching how to use it - I wasn't patient enough to be honest.
