[S1]I was wrong to do what I did SORRY[/S1]

I have been lay awake going over whats been said after the event I am sorry to those concerned and I was wrong to post a private conversation. The red mist hit me. I am not letting less than a hand full of people undo the work of hundreds of others.

Carry On Togging

Glad you've come to sense Julian. Great to have the real you back

Cheers for that I have lay awake since my blow out at 10pm mulling it over, my inbox was full to busting, text messages emails carrier pigeons etc been arriving, I better think before I blow things out of proportion infuture. :dummy:

still awake :-) having had a night contemplating things said by myself and others. your right i feel sorry for myself and need to stop it. i genuinely do not want sympathy as i am doing a good job of doing it myself. Just 1 last thing I miss the old me. its not a great excuse for me wallowing in self pity but its the best i can do. I apologise genuinely to each and everyone including Drodd Fracster and Splog. And anyone else who took anything I said to heart.

The great thing is that I think all the people concerned will also have the depth to draw an amicable line under all of this

Holding your hands up and saying you are sorry is sometimes a tough thing to do. That applies to people of all sides of an issue

I've no idea what's been happening, Julian, but everyone has the right to feel sorry for themselves, throw toys outta the cot and generally go a bit mental at times. It's how we react to it and bounce back that counts. We're always doing the best we can with the information we have at the time. :)

It takes a real man to say sorry so do what you say above and draw a line under the issue and move on:thumbs:. Well done for being that man:clap: I dont know whats been going on nor do I want to but welcome back
Bob

Hi Wheels glad your back with us.

as i said in a PM to you, old canon bob, and others Gallaxy66, smoothedit, kevshore, and the Mods:thumbs:helped me at the beginning, they took the time, but some still got the wrong end of the stick with me and confusion reigned , and it's people like Bob and the others who took the time and gave me the strength to stay.

I am not on anyone's side but do understand a bit, i would welcome any apology and move on life too short.

all the best

is your photo challenge still on please, i am bursting to edit that shot of my eve's :lol::lol:

Exactly what Dean said above, we all blow off steam from time to time or leap without looking.... Sometimes if something catches us off guard it can cause a major upset, that in the end was not needed...

I get frustrated and at times depressed with photography etc. Nothing like depression for those who suffer it and I dust myself down and fight back to be even stronger..

I hope those affected by this can be as gracious as you have been... It is the hardest thing to do, admitting you were wrong.

Chin up Julian and let normal service resume.. Get some bloody photos up man!

Pleased to see its all resolved now, Ive stayed away form posting on that thread,

Hope both you and Dawn, can put the hurt between aside and can become friends again,

Also please you removed al the messages from your blog, good man,

Now get back to taking photos LOL

I have accepted Dawns apology and definatly drawn a line under it, I sent Dawn, and couple of others who I was a bit vocal with a heart felt apology.

And want Dawn to stick with the Zoo trip and not back out. Sometimes I just need a :bonk:

I was typing a post in the old thread just as it was closed.
Julian, you and Dawn should both to the zoo meet, have a cup of tea / coffee together and have a chat.
I am sure everything will be fine and you will end up being friends.
I am not making excuses but depression can affect us in different ways, things can be misunderstood, people can get defensive etc.

Now, don't ever do this again or I will be asking for my donation back, plus interest :D

Group hug?:)

Julian, the things that Dawn said to you quite clearly upset you and I can fully understand why. I personally think you could have reacted to it a lot differently but I think you know that by now. I'm sure Dawn is feeling terrible at the moment and regretting every word she said but I'm pleased to hear that you 2 have been in contact with eachother and on the way to mending the bridges that have been broken. I look forward to meeting you and your family at Chester Zoo and if Dawn is there too then I hope the meet can go ahead as if none of this ever happened.

Dawn and the two others have not responded yet, not sure if they have got their messages or not yet.

I did think you were out of order... but it does take a man with balls to apologise and take responsibility so top marks there. Hope you and Dawn can put this behind you and enjoy the zoo.

Well said that man

The past is the past and today is a new day. Get on with it, and everyone think of the challange thats been set

When you post things on the internet think before "This is going to be on the internet and archived by all the search engines. Do I really want to say this?".

It's a good rule to work with.

It's a good job too as I had no idea what I was going to do with all that camera equipment (except to steal the SB900)

You are getting really good in the short time you've had your kit. We need to get you into the studio when I'm off for 3 weeks shortly.

What Dean said.

Dang Julian, does that mean I have to eat humble pie now too, as I was trying to stick up for ya?! Not that you ever asked for or needed it of course. I just get very defensive of my buddies.

Eating humble pie isn't so bad. It's one of the big lessons I've taught my kids, to hold up their hands when they're wrong, and I have always done the same. It's strangely liberating at times. So nice one matey. And you're right not to let a few folks ruin what has become a real passion for you.

Looking forward once again to seeing you and your brood at the zoo. :D

While your apology is to be commended, and is certainly welcomed, so thank you for that.
However, I do think you have tainted it a little by also posting the following line at the same time

"I aint letting the 3 stooges ruin what you have all done"

Maybe this is something you should also take note of then, saying things and constantly having to take them back. Easy way to get round them is not to say it in the first place.

Yes Dad:wave:

And woman, dont forget Dawn had the balls to stand up, and admit it was her and apologise first

It's a strange phenominum that I noticed when I was younger.
Sometimes people pick a fight over all sorts of things cause they want to be really close friends with them - It's a bonding thang :)

Well said.

There was fault on both sides with this incident, so well done to both of you for being adult enough to stand up and say sorry.

Hopefully you can put all of this behind you now and move on.
Have fun at your zoo day :)
