About 6 months ago I hurt my knee playing around with my children on a bouncy castle. One of those times when I was bouncing down and someone else landed at the same time making my knee jolt.

It's never really been the same, and yesterday it just went again.

Who do you go and see with a sore knee? Do you just go to the doctor - it's not an illness.

Who treats bad knees?

You need to see you doctor who may send you to see someone at the hospital.. or may send you for physio first.. when you say it went what do you mean? anyone on here knows i have had issues with my mine and 3 weeks ago i nacked mine again.. you really do need to go see the doc first of all. going to A+E isn't on really as it is not an emergency. hope that helps and i hope it heals soon.

Agree with this - you need to go to the doc and get referred to either hospital for an x-ray or a physio who should be able to diagnose the issue (at least to some extent.) I've had recent problems with my right knee and the physio I went to (a specailist in sport injuries - although my problem wasn't really this) appears to have diagnosed it correclty as his treatment and the exercises I do have greatly improved it.

Good luck.

ok thanks will call the doctor. You know what us british are like, we dont like to bother the doctor lol!

Called my doctor today for an appointment, next available routine appointment is April 29th :wideyed:

That is ridiculous!

Sorry to say yes it is ridiculous and shocking but seems the norm. if i was you i would keep ringing they will have on the day appointments i hope. we have the same problem here. on the mean time make sure you look after your knee as best you can.

doctor knees can be a problem it may be a case of some tablets or it may need physio

If you have a good Injury Sports Clinic near you - I'd phone them and ask if you can see their knee 'specialist' OK it will cost BUT you will get very good advice and treatment. Good Sports Physios have their own particular 'thing' but will happily refer you to one of their colleagues for help , if it's not their own area of expertise.

I've gone this route, and now just phone when I'm needing help - they have been superb to and for me and got me reasonably pain free very quickly . Last time a bit of uncomfortable work from the physio got me from a sudden attack of very limited and painful movement in my knee to virtually normal range of movements in about 30 mins !

And the odds are they will refer you to somebody who actually knows about knees.

What @camerassassin said - sports physio. They will tell you if they can help and make it stop hurting faster.
