I have been seriously considering this camera, initial reviews show the zeiss lens to be sharp across the frame from 24-200 mm and the sensor from the rx100 mk2 is already proven, the spec list would shame many a top end dslr.

What really attracts me is the versatility and relative small size without having to ever think about lens swapping.

What puts me off is its a few quid short of a sony A7.....

Thoughts??

I am very very tempted by this.
My photography consists of a bit of landscape, night time long exposures, a bit of macro and the odd studio day.
With the hotshoe i can still use triggers.
The specs of the camera look to be even better than my current d300.
The fact i cant afford loads of lenses means the rx10 would fit perfectly not only for my normal photography but for holiday as well.

Its expensive but will drop in price soon after launch so i reckon £900 will be a closer figure after christmas.
I currently have a d300 with 24-70 2.8 which hardly gets used (3 times in the past 6 months)

In its specs it focuses close and with a raynox250 i think it would be quite capable for some macro shots, especially as it stops down to 2.8 even at 200mm
