Hi,

I have a Sony A7iii with the following lenses...
Sigma 35mm Art F/1.4 (EF fit)
Sony 85mm F/1.8
Sigma 105mm F/2.8 (EF Fit)
Tamron 70-200 F/2.8 G2 (EF Fit)

Some are EF lenses as I recently switched from Canon but I am using them with the Sigma MC-11 adapter which actually works really well.

I shoot weddings and portraits mainly but also like to travel and watch a lot of motorsport trackside. I don't shoot video at all.

I am thinking of selling the Tamron 70-200 and buying the Sony 24-240mm. The reason being is so I son't have to travel with multiple lenses and the 240mm gives me a bit more reach at motorsport events. I am planning to then use the other prime lenses for weddings and portraits. I love the Tamron but it is heavy and the focus can can lag a little with the adapter and the tracking focus does not work.

Has anyone got or tried the 24-240mm?

Any other thoughts for lenses under £1000?

Whilst I am here, I am also considering selling the Sigma 35mm EF fit and buying the Samyang/Rokinon 35mm F/1.4 FE fit? again.... anyone else tried or own this lens and camera setup?

Thanks in advance!

Mike
