Sony HVL-F42 Flash - £149

Just found this.

Doesn't come up on Google shopping searches, or price comparison sites.

However, I managed to find it by chance!

£179 is the next cheapest I can find from Dixons.

Indeedy...Argos were selling off the Sony 20 flash as this is being replaced as well so I would expect to see 42's getting flogged off for roughly around the £100 mark soon.

Might be a delay in new Sony items due the rock 'n' roll over in Japan - There have been a few discussions about how the quake has/hasn't affected suppliers and manufacturers but things are going to be slow given the disruption to electricity and transport links.

So short answer - No.
