Sony hvl-f20am flash on a nex 7

In my local camera shop last night picking up memory card and the guy behind the desk asked if I had considered this flash for my camera..now as a new ie I'm wondering why I would need another flash as the nex 7 has one??
 
more power, iirc it bounces & you can use it as a flash commander for off-camera flashes.
there is 1 in the for sale forum here that should be a lot cheaper than new.
 
What's the pop up on the nex7 rated at? The 20 is pretty weedy. Useful as a basic trigger on cams without a pop up (a850/900), but a bit limited as a flash in its own right. An hvl-43 would be a more flexible upgrade, albeit for a higher cost.
