Sony Cybershot W510

Found this miniscule Sony in one of the drawers whilst clearing out my parents' house. It's ten or eleven years old. Twelve megapixels. Absolutely tiny and so I slipped it in my pocket whilst out cycling. No RAW output and I can't find a way of adjusting any settings. Also no viewfinder so when the sun is out it's like shooting blind. Anyway, I grabbed a few of these blind shots today and the output wasn't at all bad. I don't think it'll replace my Panasonic, but because it's so nice to have something truly pocketable it has got me thinking about a more modern RX100 type camera.

You can't beat a point and press that your able to carry at all times ! Sometimes a shot will turn up while you out and about doing other things than photography !

Another day when I stuck the Cybershot in my pocket just in case. We take this pub for granted in Gloucester - pass it most days, certainly every home match. But it might be interesting for non-Gloucester folk. Shame I didn't have a better camera - the guy in the doorway blowing smoke into the air would have been a great picture.

A couple more from today. Quietly building up a nice set of images from this tiny camera - although I have to say SWMBO was taking some of the same shots on her iPhone and they were tons better, so it's easy to see why the point and shoot market vanished. Still a bit of fun, though.
