Sony camera to Bowens

Looking for some information on firing Bowens through a Sony camera.

I've lent a friend my Bowens and I didn't realise the Sony A37 doesnt have a pc sync slot to fire with the sync cable, is anyone able to recommend the best way to do it?

Searching the Internet doesn't give too many results, would this (Link) work for plugging the sync cable into? They're trying to keep it as cheap as possible so Pocket Wizards and Pulsars are out.

Don't have any knowledge on Sony's at all so any help would be great!

Yes it will. You will also need to turn off the live view preview option in the menu options. Otherwise the screen will be black when you turn up your aperture.

Thanks, all sorted now...didn't realise they had a Sony flash and used that to trigger them.
