Sony Alpha NEX-7?

Does anyone know what the 18-55 lens that is offered with the Sony Alpha NEX-7 is like. I have the A55 & I don't rate the kit lens with it too much.

It's the same lens as is bundled with the other Nex cameras, just in black. Quality is average if I remember correctly.

I found it to be the best lens out of the 16mm prime and the 55-210mm. I don't really spend much time testing lenses though.

Some people say that the first generation of the 18-55 were poorer than the second generation that came with the C3/5N/7.

There are a number of exciting primes on the horizon for the nex series, including a 35mm Carl Zeiss, and a couple of wide angle sigma's.

Take a look at the DigitalRev video review, they didn't rate the kit lens at all.
