Sony alpha help needed

I bought a sigma 70-300 lens on eBay, pictures show front and rear caps but lens has came without them, small scratch on front lens glass which wasn't mentioned in the description and the lens doesn't fit my Sony a200 which was listed as Minolta and Sony a mount.... can anybody tell me from the pictures what I have received

Would the lens have a serial number that you could speak to Sigma about?

It definitely looks like a Canon EOS mount.
