I'm in the market to add another 1, maybe 2 lenses to my camera bag, the problem is i'm having a hard time deciding what to buy. I currently only have the kit Sony 18-70 which came with my a200. I think i have narrowed it down to the following lenses but am open to any other suggestions.
Minolta 50mm f/1.7
Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 Di II LD NAF
Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 SP Di
I'm interested in portraits and still life which i think the 50mm could cope with well but i also like landscapes. So a couple of questions:
1) Would i be worth getting the minolta 50mm and the tamron 17-50 or would the Tamron cover both aspects and do the job of the 50mm prime as well?
2) Other than the obvious higher f-stop, is it worth me getting the 28-75 considering the sony kit lens is 18-70mm f/3.5-5.6?
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as would other ideas.
