Sony A7 ? worth it

This was one of the vids that showed an EF adapter in use:


Flick to about 1:10 where he shows lenses in action, the 50 1.4 just doesn't work in phase detection mode, it'll work in contrast detect AF but very sluggish. he also shows some EF-S lenses in crop mode
 
Thanks for all the updates guys, some good information and food for thought...

Seeing him tomorrow, so going to check his camera out and go from there - going to make a few phone calls in morning to see if somewhere has the A68 to have a look at / try out :)
 
Quick update, had a look at his camera today - done a rest and checked everything - still jumping around on playback unexpectedly and he also reports some images look very pixelated, whereas others don't - on same shoot and apparently some settings are changed (he says he hasn't changed them, but I'm not 100% :D )

Had a chat with him about everything thats been said and he seems keen on the A68 - just trying to find one locally now so he can have a hold of / try with. LCE have said the A77 has the same internals, AF etc, so they're happy to show him this prior to him ordering one if it's what he's after...
