Yes
Jessops have not advised when they can fulfil my order for the A300.

I notice that Warehouse Express have it (albeit low stock) at only £50 more than Jessops for the A300.

Is it worth the extra?

Are Warehouse Express OK?

I have read about noise from the additional pixels on the A350 but don't really understand what's meant by noise. Can anyone explain to a dullard please?

Many thanks

Here's a wee link reviewing the A350 and it's relative noise at different ISO settings.

basically the higher the ISO number you use the more noise you will get and the more grainy your photo's will be. Hope that simple explanation helps, if not I'm sure someone much more technically minded than me will be along in a bit to help.

Are you only looking at the a300 & a350 becuase of liveview ?

If not save yourself some money and go for the a200, same spec as the a300 but without liveview.

I'm in a similar predicament with Pixmania Boynielad, although they are saying Jan 21st for stock, I was considering paying the extra for the A350 but their seems little difference and most people saying that there is more noise on the A350 with the 14 megapixel sensor.

I've just spoken to Warehouse Express who advise they are out of stock of the A350 anyway. Jessops nearest A350 is 70 miles away.

Apparently the weakness of sterling has increased demand from mainland Europe - they're snapping (sorry) everything up.

Yeah there certainly seems to be little stock of the A300, I can only imagine its Sony related as nowhere seems to have the A300, perhaps just slow re-stocking after Christmas.

Pixmania are now saying 20/01/2009 for stock so I think I will hold off a few days before deciding what to do.

Hello All

I bought my Sony A300 yesterday as well.

save the money and get the a300 and use the savings for accessories ;-)
