Sony a Mount 70-400 G Lens

Hi Guys,

Just after some advice, I am being offered the Sony a mount 70-400 G Lens for £700. I know I will need the Sony LA-EA5 adapter which is £240.

So my question is, is this a good purchase to go on my a7r3 it being an "a" mount or is there a better option?

I guess compared to a Sony 100-400 it's cheaper. YouTube is bound to have a few comparison videos

No idea on the AF performance
