TBH I don't feel this is a bargain (over-priced vs. performance) but it dropped £100 today:

I agree the lens is overpriced v performance and IQ, but whilst the prices for certain optics etc are waaaaaaay down, the Sigma AF 100-300mm F4 EX DG (IF) APO is a better buy @ circa £500.00. Bear in mind it used to retail for £1100.00-£1200.00.
