If you must use Nd then that is that. I presume no real options for CPL there because how would you rotate it? Just run it filter free unless you really really have to oWhat would you recommend filter-wise for the above lens considering there is no thread. I found this on Amazon but still looking for other options.
kasefilters.com
let me know how it goesKase filters look really interesting. Bit worried it might slip and mess up my sensor but I think I’ll give them a go

I am not sure it'd actually fall through tbh.So would I - one slip or if you do it incorrectly bye bye camera sensor.

but yeah buy at your own risk of course!
I haven't used clip in filters, so no idea of the potential for damage.
I rather not imagine things but I appreciate the apprehension behind using them.
Only reason I don't buy them is because I can put filters on top of my lens.
I am not a fan of square filters tbh.
While Sony had a head start in mirrorless world it also means their lenses' focal ranges aren't quite as interesting. For what it is and the hassle of alternatives definitely filter free. 16-35 type lenses are there if you need them
I've been doing some reading about it and to be honest was very unimpressed with the reviews. Distortion is crazy at 14mm and 16mm, corner sharpness worse than Ef version. That's what a few of the reviews all concluded. How many of us do actually need anything wider than 15-16mm? I do a lot of interiors many of which are quite tight and generally don't want a 14mm due to crazy perspective distortion. In fact you try to go a bit narrower wherever you can. While Sony had a head start in mirrorless world it also means their lenses' focal ranges aren't quite as interesting.
Sony has 12-24mm with f2.8 or f4 variants both of which take no filters.
Sony has 16-35mm with f2.8 and f4 variants that take regular circular filters.
Instead of these I would much prefer the something like the RF 14-35mm f4 (I know its expensive) which also takes regular filters.
