Daily Sonriendo's 365 - Finished and thank flickerty for that :D

Well, no doubt you'll all be off enjoying the sunshine on Monday ;)

Unemployment is pretty dire :(

Jeff I'll book you in for next time my ironing pile is mountainous :D

Today's photo Charlotte was pirouetting around the kitchen before her dance class tonight. Decided there wasn't really enough room to do this indoors and we were just about to move outside when her lift turned up :(

Nicely framed against the window though. Nice and bright and you've definately captured the movement. One to revisit when time permits I say!

And on the subject of Spanish unemployment, many our heading our way now. I've never known so many Spanish people around here (my wife feels quite at home). The New Armada I'm calling it. None of them like our weather though (although it is lovely at the moment).

I don't do much ironing - my iron broke before easter it's new replacement was bought last week and is still in it's box :D

Best place for it...in the box..those things are lethal in the wrong hands...like a hot plated time machine .. You can lose hours doing just one shirt!!!

Now...now..extreme ironing..that's different.. I can see myself ..complete with board and hot plate..AT the top of Ben Nevis ... Ironing a shirt... !!

Yes Timmy I will do this again, need a bit more space :)

Nicely captured action shot! :D

Thanks Jake

I really try and avoid all ironing - don't mind pressing the sheets and that's about it :D

Right, had a busy weekend so it's a bit of a catch up for me - sorry about that ;)

First up a bit of street for you ;)

The fountain shot is great! Really like it!
Nice capture of the dancers, and the shot of your girls is lovely! They look so similar! Me and my brother are nothing alike!

And finally here is today's for you a pair of bee eaters in the same bush with a photobombing Woodchat shrike :D

So, with a borrowed 300f.4L and 1.4 converter and still without a hide - I'm getting there. Hand held again

oooh and it's quite a big crop

Can somebody please remind me to do the lottery

Thanks Jake - we don't think they're that alike although they're obviously sisters IYKWIM

No birds today, went out this evening and not a twitter to be heard. A few minutes later this came stalking up from the field :D

Three birds in the bush are worth....
:D

Thanks Vince - shame I'm going to have to give this lens back :(
Some people are just so damned unreasonable :(
I'm sure you could think of a good excuse to keep it a bit longer
if you really tried :D

As above ;)
Its certainly not your bestest image ;))

Right catching up again - now it's lighter evenings I have less time to sit on my butt and play computers

So to get me up to date...

Having the 300mm on the camera is a little restricting at times

Hopefully if it doesn't rain tomorrow I'm off to the Feria de Mayo en Torrevieja - lots of lovely horses and Sevillana costumes :D So, wide angle and 50mm all the way ;)

Thanks I still need to get closer though - I think a hide might be the order of the day - but I think I'm going to find it very boring  We'll see :)

Catching up :) Really enjoyed all your photos Sarah, it's hard to pick a favourite but I think it might be the bird on the wire fence!

Great bird shots, lovely kittens, beautiful portraits, but 123 is right up my street!

I'm not sure what's happening around here - but I don't seem to have the time to come on here quite as much as I used to  So flipping busy all the time - which is a good thing :D

Here's the las two day's pics - still got to think of something for today

One of the beautiful horses from the Feria de Mayo - there's more in this set on Flickr - couldn't really decide which one to choose.

And yesterday's, Gata Blanca being looking very pee'd off with the Mossie Nets :D She is meant to be a mouse hunting semi feral - but she has illusions of being a house cat. These have now been completely quashed as I found the remains of a small bird behind the door in the spare room

Beautful horse, as are all the ones in the flickr set. You can see why the spanish bloodlines have been prized over the years.

Most of them are very highly schooled and nearly all are stallions - I can just watch them for hours on end - very envious.

Very nice
I think you chose well TBH :)

But its what they do, any decent "house guest" will bring a present with them :D
