Right, so ever since I got back from the UK there have been fabulous sunsets - just what I wanted for today's shot. When the time came there was nothing :lol: All the nice floaty and puffy clouds that had been hovering around all afternoon conglomerated on the horizon - so it just sort of got progresively darker :lol:

Bodged it a bit in PS though and although it's not quite what I had in mind - I think you'll get the general idea :lol:

Lovely day here today, so we decided we ought to start to get the pool ready for summer swimming :D This winter I decided to turn the water and pump off and just leave it :gag: You'll be pleased to know that with the huge dose of chlorine that was chucked in today I have managed to eliminate 1,000's of would be mosquitos ;)

I had two willing helpers as you can see and I think I might just have problems with one of them this summer :lol:

Jealous of your pool even if it is slightly green! Lol at the dogs, my 2 are a nightmare to keep out of my ponds especially on a warn day!

I'm thinking of making it a mini project :D Maxi was around last summer and probably too wee to want to go in the water - I feel sure he'll be in there this year though :lol:
 
LOL what is it with water and dogs?
You try and bath them and they kick off, but get then somewhere they are not supposed to
be, be that a pool or a muddy pond and they just have to check it out :D

Looks like the "black and tan" has some growing to do before he fits those legs / feet
of his too :D
 
Catching up again Sarah, and looks like you had a good visit over here, despite our god awful weather...the shot from the Eye is excellent considering it's not easy battling with reflections etc.....and like the 100 pic too, really works for me :thumbs:

I think the Black and Tan has a hint of Dobi in him - he is quite hunckered down there as well :D

We did thanks Simon - the day we went up to London was bloody hid-e-ous seriously freezing cold :lol:

Good there's another one today :lol:

Was busy in the garden again today and am so pleased it's now light until late O'clock at night - in fact the middle of the day's not much good for me now unless it is overcast ;)

Here's what the pool looks like today full and the filter working - still a bit murky looking though :gag:

I only managed one shot though because as I took this a really heavy shower started so I had to run for the house - hence it's very interesting composition :lol:

Well you didn't tell me you had octopus AND a pool. Right I'm booking my tickets fr next year... what week is good for you?

That portrait is amazing, and I refuse to believe it is a filler. I love the overall creamy tone to the picture, and freckles are just cool. :thumbs:
