Just want to say Sarah...thanks for the great idea on flickr ... The candid behind shot.. Always looking for a new theme I am... Butt-365 ... :naughty:

Now that really is taking the P***! :p

Well spotted and caught though

I like the caterpillar very much - although I am surprised you didn't manage to incorporate some amazing blue sky in the background!

Sweet shot Sarah! I hope you packed warmth and sunshine :-)

Wow, so many to catch up on! Sorry it's taken so long..

That's a scary looking caterpillar, best not to touch it! Hopefully it will turn into a lovely butterfly for you.

I really like you Semana Santa images. I have a load myself from Murcia that i am still working through. Only went to see a couple this year, but my nephew was taking part for the first time, so have a few family snap shots. I have one to post as part of my 365. It's interesting to see how the parades are in different regions. I haven't seen the roman soldiers around these parts before! There is one on tomorrow morning where they chase the devil around the city and every year I've missed him (you have to get up early for that one). We'll see what happens tomorrow ;)

My favourite has to be... well its either the brilliant orange/yellow flower (minus the cork), I would even try and get it on a longer stalk to be able to cut out the glass completely if you revisit it... or it's the cookies. Yeah, probably the cookies.

The glass of wine is a quick snapshot, but it speaks volumes. I like that one too :)

Is spring coming? Really? Are you sure? Doesnt feel like it here! Nice capture though.

Thanks for all the comments guys, having a quick catch up - and although I've managed to do a POTD, I can't upload until I get home next week :(

We're having a good if chilly time here - I tried so hard to get the sun to follow, but obviously it was not to be :(

It is here now too  But there was a bit of snow blowing about earlier :(

I think that your just toying with us over the nice weather, that said we've had wonderful clear skies this last week, I've got lot's of trailing done some I'm a happy boy, it's still been bloody freezing minds but I can live with the cold :D

It's nice to see a glimpse into your local culture all I've ever seen of spain is the tourist parts :( and finally can I have a glass of red please :D

Went to Whipsnade, so it had to be these again :D They've grown loads and are nearly as tall as their mum now. Could only get 5 and the mum as the other one was outside hawking up hair balls - nice and the lying down at the front one was mostly sleeping, so i'm pleased I managed to get them all with their eyes open :)

And the day the girlies were so excited about - London - they loved seeing it all but Oh - My - God - it was so flipping cold, crossing those bridges with the wind whipping up the Thames was not nice - fairly cosy on the Eye, but the reflections in the glass were awful to work round.

The Old George at Stoney Stratford - another chilly walk through followed by warming Mochalatte and cakes in Costa Coffee :D

The sun came out a little bit and we went to Bletchley Park -not so windy thank goodness

Last day at Woburn Abbey - beautifully sunny and warm - nearly had an ice cream :D Damn shame the whole week wasn't so lovely - but hey ho

Arrived at Alicante at 09.30 very, very tired :( Catering wasn't very high on my list of priorities so it was burgers all round :D

And that's me all caught up and just today's to go - phew :D

Fiestas in the village next door to us - the last day and here are the banderadas going off to collect the Queens of the fiestas, ready for the procesion and firework display tonight - this is the first year we've not been in full attendence - but they don't really change much from year to year - we'll make up for it next year.

Nice catch up Sarah, recognised the pub :) I took a couple there the other week of the hotels across the road, The Cock and The Bull, which was where the saying Cock & Bull story came from. Obvioulsy recognise that dinosaur as well :)

Nice set Sarah :)
Well done on getting the (available) cubs all looking in the same direction.

I like what you have done to the George, its just a shame about the phone box on the corner
of the coaching arch, otherwise it could have easily been taken 100 years ago. :)

And thats a nice vista across the lake to the house too :)

Glad to see you back on here Sarah!
89 is a bit too soft for me.
I love the Whipsnade and London shots!
Woburn is another great shot, and the burger photo is good! They look yummy - minus the tomatos, what is on the tomatos?
The fiesta shot is great, I love to see foreign culture in your shots!

Awww excellent catch up Sarah and despite our typical crap weather it looks like you all had a lovely time!... I can't believe how much those cubs at whipsnade have grown.. stil cute tho...

Woburn wow i haven't been for years i need to take the rat

Costa is a must always!

I meant to crop the phone box out, so don't know what happened there :suspect:

Are you trying to impress me with your Spanish with the "vista"

89 was at f 2.2, so the bird's not too bad but Charlotte is well OOF

That's homemade (by me :D) courgette chutney

I must make an effort to do more street type shots for you all (but only on grey days so I don't feel the wrath of you all ;))

Woburn was great, we loved the free range marmosets and the monkey cages

So, just popped out the door to do my POTD - not really sure what I was planning to do - when I spied this out of the corner of my eye OFFS

Really hoping that somebody claims it and have told the girls that they are not to make a fuss of it - like that's going to happen

Oh my what a cute one!! You can't not make a fuss :-D

I've already got 4 and this one is far too fluffy for my liking ;)

I'm looking for a dog but has to be a non or low moult type so probably too fluffy for me too although its gorgeous!

Not sure moving to Spain just for the cute pups would be viable reason lol!!

It looks a bit poodleish - so might be non moult ;)

How about the cheap wine and sunshine then :D

absolutamente mi querido :p

Actually I thought "vista" was French
