Daily Sonriendo's 365 - Finished and thank flickerty for that :D

The flames one is just a bit too dark for me - or on my monitor at least - can't quite make out what it is! (Maybe that's the idea though!)

It's an interesting one because when I first saw it I thought it was a little dark - then I saw that bit on the left hand which almost looks like a reflection of the flame.... and then the detail and lighting on the log and those great bits of detail under the skillet of BBQ or whatever it is and really liked it! :)

It's actually logs in my log burner :)

Haha cute eggs!! Lighting is ace!

Today's is good too, I'm on my phone so small here but I'd like to see it bigger tomorrow .. Flames well caught :-)

Thanks

Not that dark on mine

Bit of warmth for us feeling the cold here at the moment.

It's dropping colder here over the next few days, and blowing hooligans :( I really thought spring was on it's way :shake:

Back for my weekly catchup, some lovely photos here Sarah. Really like Day 48 with your daughter and the bubble gum, it evokes the memories of doing the same thing as a child. I can just imagine it popping right after! The picture of the frog is cool! Really lovely detail and colour there, how on earth did you get it to stay still long enough? Liking the eggs, I might try that next time I get some nice big duck eggs, but suffice to say I just ate them the other day! Great work, keep it up :)

Re the frog, I told him if he moved I'd kiss him and then he'd have to stay with me forever ;)

So, managed to convince one of the girlies to be a model again, this is a photo I've been meaning to do for ages, but she kept forgetting to bring her dance shoes home. Natural light and a reflector.

Oh, lovely, shot Sarah!

Can I just ask what that kind of loop is to the right of her foot, midway down?

Great lighting and I love the focus and composition - plus, she is very talented to be able to do pointe. I got as far as being a butterfly when I was about 6 and then gave up because ballet was just too hard for a heffalump!:lol:

Sarah that's beautiful!... very elegent

Thanks - they've got to earn their keep ;)

Sam, it was the lace of the shoe behind, just noticed it and cloned it out  They both dance, but only Charlotte does pointe, Nattie has had her ankle in plaster far too many times to risk it

Not really my thing Sarah but very elegant all the same and nicely taken.

Ah Sarah, that's gorgeous. The processing finishes it off perfectly.

Lovely shot Sarah, works really well.

Sam, thank God it wasn't just me. My Mum was quite a dancer & I failed preliminary, my Mum got called into the dance teachers office and was told that no one had ever failed that! The woman also apparently told me that fairies don't stamp & I replied well, this one does :) My poor Mum :)
Still, it meant that I could give up & go riding :)

Thanks Sarah :)

I too abandoned ballet for ponies from a very young age, I have memories of skipping round some sort of church hall, whilst someone's granny battered out Beatles songs on an old upright piano :D

The white blossom/flowers is great...the multiplicity is epic and the ballet shoes are beautifully composed..

Love the eggs shot....hehehe is it me or are they looking a little bit cheeky ;).....nice log burner shot, but maybe enhanced with a bit of roaring flame :)....great shot of the ballet pose, lighting spot on, along with the composition and processing

Complete filler shot for today, ran out of time and picked the camera up just before I was going to bed. Didn't even change the settings from the day before, just point and press fortunately the focus was OK

Flippin' 'eck posted this to Flickr ages ago but forgot to put it here - thought you all weren't speaking to me tonight

Did this one for the We is Here group on Flickr, who I am hoping will inspire me on occassion :)

I like your filler, quite the glow you have on there! :)

I love todays... possibilities to the back story including you having a treat in your hand, doggie being pleased to see you, doggie in training (still treat related I guess!!). He (?) is gorgeous. And looks like a puppy still?

He is still a puppy, I took him in about 3 weeks ago and there might have been a bacon bit in my hand ;)

I thought he had 'that look' - it's the same one my cat and my OH get when I have food about!

Very sweet, you just can't resist that look can you. Mine were experts at it.

I'm getting harder - we've got 4 dogs at the moment *rollseyes* I'm trying to get down to just one impeccably behaved mutt in the house, but we keep finding abandoned puppies - so what can you do  But really, four is more than enough ;)

I'm losing track of what i have commented on and what i haven't arghhhh!!

Lighter shot is a good filler!

Loving the Doggy shot tho.... makes me want one all the more keep seeing doggy shots on here!...
