Daily Sonriendo's 365 - Finished and thank flickerty for that :D

Excellent! I like bubble shots, was you holding it?

I was, I put it on manual focus and moved the bubble to get it right  My two beautiful assistants are at their Dad's ;)

I rather like the look of the church itself, but you could start a campaign to get decent studded doors on it :)
As for the bubbles, I still love doing that :)

I know, the door is hideous.Around the side there is a wooden painted one that makws a lovely backdrop for portraits :)

I'm going to play more bubbles when the girlies are back :)

Sounds like my childless nights too lol
Mines off down the pub, its a tough life being a "single parent" :D

Interesting Church Sarah
(but you still need to learn how to use the clone tool :D)

The second Bubble is great, the way you can just see the wisps of air, where
it popped :)

Is it really obvious where I cloned then? Thought I'd sorted it all.

I know, you can almost see the shape of it top right too :D

The top one you have left a darker line in ;)
(Top left of frame)
But actually I was referring to the wires in the "wider" shots :)

Yep its really cool :)
Almost the "ghost" of itself

Love the church but as some have already said - the door is hideous :'( Even if they put a wooden door as an outer door to create a bit more character - love the stonework and roof though :)
And love the bubble

When I picked up my takeaway last night I also picked up a copy of the local free paper. A St Paddy's day parade was being held just down the road a bit from my mum's. A quick phone call and she said she might pop down there if it didn't rain. Told her I might pop down with her then too. She thought it would be a good idea if I came down early and we could have lunch. So, today we were ladies wot lunch :D Irish Stew, guiness and apple pie and ice cream - custard would have been better but hey ho :D So, A few St Pad's day pics for today

A few feet further back

i'm liking this distance, but i can see you cloned the wires out in the original. i do think having the whole building and the lead in lines of the green path adds so much to it..

..loving your st pat's day photos.... i could just slowly sup on that guiness..right ..now...

Superb Sarah , looks like a great day !
That does look like a fun day!

Well, it was typical irish weather - grey and showery with a brisk breeze :D Not bad though. And of course lunch out is always a winner in my books ;)

See I prefered up close and personal - although I do see where you are coming from ;)

The guiness was gorgeous first one I've had in a very long time ;)

Great photos! I didn't know it was St. Patrick's day until seeing them... I've been under my cosy rock, it seems :)

I like the St Patrick's day shots - looks like a fun day! Love stew, yum!

Great shots of St Pats day and that Guiness looks very refreshing to say the least :)

Got the noisy little basket at last - loads of scope for improvement though - severley cropped but not too bad for a one shot grab :)

Not bad for a grab shot at all.
Congrats :)

Congrats :)

Thank you I swear he taunts me, a couple of weeks ago he was "performing" at the very top of the pine tree on the other side of the road, by the time I'd grabbed my camera - gone :(

Damn your blue sky girl!!

Ace grab shot tho and love the negative space here :-)

I love the bubble shot, I was trying to do one a few days back, but I lost my temper in the end! Nice to see you managed to snap the bird!

I think I'll be having another go with bubbles actually - but you do need a beautiful assistant it's not easy to do anything with them when you are on your own :)

Sorry - I'd tell you that there wasn't a cloud in the sky today - but Sarah doesn't half get snippy at times :D

Thanks:D

Damn I used iPhone smilies lol!!

Blue skies huh!
Liking St Paddys day too, it seems to give the whole world an excuse for a party.

Ooh, I like your bubble shot, especially as a before and after! That works well for me!

St Patrick's day photos are great and I love the backstory to it as well....and am a sucker for Irish Stew and Apple Pie (they can keep their Guinness, though!!:D).

What is that bird? Some kind of Kestral or something? Anyway, cheers for showing us all that nice blue sky of yours. That's kind of you.:lol:

Thanks Sam, yes, it is a kestral I've got quite close to it when I've not had my camera  Looks like the blue sky is here today as well :D

Nice to see things still progressing well for you Sarah, I love the bubbles but it would have been nice to have a little less of a distraction in the background, that church is an interesting one for sure, I guess the door is a sign of the security that has become needed :shake: very sad, glad you got your bird of pray, I also love the orange slices, so juicy and rich colours

Thanks Matt - it is a shame about the church although the door does look to have been there for some years :)

Now then, today's for me is a little out of the ordinary  and therefore has a story behind it ;)

Today is San Jose, Dia del Padre or even fathers day and a fiesta (bank holiday). I received a phone call from my next door neighbour asking to borrow yes borrow my camera  He wanted to take photo's of a friend of his - now as my neighbour is about 26, plays lots of football and in a band, I asumed it would be something along those lines. So, I voluntered to go along take the shots and pass them over - not a problem.

Turned out it is the first communion of Adrian - whose family I also know - and they were taking photos for his album of the first communion - Oh My God  Anyway I couldn't reallly back out of it so I went along and I'm just hoping that out of the 210 shots there are some that are useable. So, here's one that was in the do not chuck pile - I don't even think it's the best or my favourite - just happened to be there when I went into Lightroom to find a pic for today - never had so much choice :D I'm nearly boss-eyed now from looking at the screen so much
