Daily Sonriendo's 365 - Finished and thank flickerty for that :D

Great portrait today Sarah, you are so lucky to have a bit of sunlight.

I know :D

In my very best Clarkson, that puppy is Sweeeeeeeeet ;) poor little thing getting abandoned :( and the light just bring's your daughter to life in that shot simply wonderful

Thanks Matt, he's actually quite well behaved too :D

I prefer the original portrait, fantastic light and pose - just ever so slightly missed focus as her eyes are not quite pin sharp - perhaps a bit of PP could rectify this and make it a killer photo.

Thanks, I did sharpen them a touch in Lightroom, but am always cautious about overdoing it and giving them snake eyes - as they call it

I love the edit and agree with Toni, it's part of the processing look and adds to the effect...

I've had a really busy day today so, I don't think I'm going to have time to comment tonight, but I will try and catch up shortly.

Hurridly took this this evening, first of all I had the plants silhouetted and then I had a go with the flash. Prefered this so this is what you've got. Never had the proper flash on - no time to look it out. Would like to try this again though with the 580 and bouncing it off the wall that is behind me.

All in all, crap day and crap shot :D

I am soooooo jealous of that sky!! Gorgeous

That's pretty damned good actually

(Now just smack the wires and pylons with the clone tool ;))

Oh man, I wish I took crap shots like that!. That's really quite cool, think you've underestimated how good it is.

Love the portrait too, but I think I would be tempted to take the exposure back a tad. I still quite like it though. And it is 12 O'Clock so I'm probably talking gibberish at this stage

Love the sky - not sure about the flash though as it seems to be more on the lower half of the plants? Not what I would call a crap shot though!

That sky's fantastic, Sarah - very good for a crap shot! :D

I'm not very good at cloning things like that out - just pretend they're not there ;)

Been struggling for time recently so catching up, some nice shots, loved the chickens and the portrait in particular

Thank you, it is very difficult to keep up with everyone.

Thanks Conor, she is deathly pale anyway, goes with the hair colour much to her disgust ;)

I know, wish I'd had time to play about bouncing the flash. Hopefully there will be more evenings like it though ;)

I like that Sarah! I'd like to see the silhouette one :)

I'll try and put it on my Flickr later today

I just fell lucky really, otherwise you'd probably have had a very badly lit selfie ;)

Day 29, another lovely portrait. You are lucky having them as your models.
As for the sunset on day 30, that's just cruel for all of us watching the wind and rain!

It is handy that they don't mind posing, I must admit :) As for the sun, well sorry about that :p :D

if that is crap then I am doomed :( Great shot Sarah

oh definitely :( I now starting to look at my shots and think 'hmmm that doesnt look right so someone is bound to see it .... so out that goes'

I've often been told I ought to print and frame some of mine, I just think what that pot of crap

Well, in a bit of a quandry, today I took a SP, but it was too :puke: for words, so as I had to go into town this afternoon I decided I'd take the camera and have a go at a bit of "street". Well, it was plenty light enough when I left home, but by the time I arrived it had turned quite dimpsy :( Managed to save 2, which do you prefer

#2 - I like the mono on this, would have liked to see more of the signage, but it works for me.

I like #1 as well, but went with my initial reaction to them.

Or, hang on, do i prefer #1 after all?:D

Both good, but I prefer the herbs and stuff, I like the colours and textured

I really like the first. Markets are great for photos!

Personally I prefer the black and white. It's a good conversion and I like the framing.

Hmmm, it's looking like pretty even voting at the moment

I like the Mono but prefer the herbs ..... keeps you looking for a long time at all the different items and what the signs say :D works for me definitely :D

Have to say, I'm edging towards the herbs too, I'm going to go there earlier tomorrow afternoon, whilst there is still some light ;)

Great idea Sarah :)

Bag is packed and am on way to airport now :D ...... I wish :(

It's a Medeival Market and on for 3 days, loads of photo ops and usually quite good fun. Gets really packed Sat and Sun, so I'm taking advantage of the girls being at their dad's and going Friday after lunch :D

Now I'm even more depressed :'( Have to work Saturday and Sunday but would much rather be at a Market like that - especially if they are in costume as well :D Have a wonderful weekend :) Looking forward to the photographs from that :)
