Hmm, wish everyone was like that.
10 years or so ago I had a job as a supply teacher (long story, no training, happy to bore anyone if required).
It was only a short term thing just after finishing Uni, but they forgot to take me off the payroll when I left. The first pay cheque that rolled in after I finished I wasn't sure about, could have been paid in Lieu (I was sleep walking after Uni, completely oblivious). When the second one came I called them straight away: I could have been on the payroll for months if I'd wanted.
What action did they take? They threatened me with bailiffs!. I told them for gods sake.
Nice to hear Tesco handle things better than the LEA.
