So I'm playing around with my newly acquired Yongnuo468-II with small softbox and erverything is working fine.
I try to use the off camera cord (Yongnuo OC-E3) but now the flash isn't recognised (I think). Nothing is firing, when I look through the viewfinder where before I had the flash symbol now I have nothing.
I've disconnected and reconnected and nothing. I've made sure all connections are secure. I've tried every mode the flash has to no avail.
Am I missing something obvious? Is there anything I need to enable on camera for it to recognise the flash is off camera?
I thought the cable meant it still worked the same way rather than having to worry about using the flash in full manual like you do if you go for remote activation.
