Hi,
I'm off to HK in a couple of weeks and I've just bumped an older thread in the 'Shopping' section with a list of the kit I will be looking at along with UK and HK Ebay prices.

After a bit more digging around, the Sigma 150-500mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM is looking like a good candidate for what I want. I do a lot of motorsport and am not adverse to a bit of wildlife so I want something long. At the moment the longest combo I have is my Sigma 150mm 2.8 with a 2x TC (or 2x2x but that gets quite soft) equiv 300mm, so whilst the likes of the Nikkor 70-300 looks nice, it'd be an IQ step rather than length. I know that 6.3 at the telephoto end is a little slow, but for the money it looks like a good trade-off.
Realistically I'd sell one of my Sigma 2x TCs if I did get this as I think 1000mm would be quite enough! :bonk:
Just after a bit of a sanity check really, have you guys/gals used this bit of glass before?
Cheers.
