Wow, I managed to knock thisup for a side project :eek: Only took an hour or so and I think it came out pretty well.

Admitidly the base of the telegraph is a tad on the large side, but that can be sorted out.

Its a telegraph froma ship, the thing that tells the engine room what to do.

Did it in Blender 3D a freeware 3D programme, just as good as 3D Max I think.
 
That's really cool! :) Can you apply a bit of smoothing in Blender? It looks really good, the texturing is nice too....something I could never master :lol:

You can smooth it, but it looks stupid on this.

Here is some work I did in 1st year at uni....3 years ago :eek: We had to do a 3D model of our building in it's entirety, or close as damn it :) I did a music museum for my final project, based in Manchester in some rail arches next to the canal...I loved that work, got it on disc somewhere!

Damn you I'm going to have to install 3D Studio again :lol:

Well I know I couldn't do that but I'm still left with the question of "why, what's it for"?
 
Its for a project on another forum, where a couple of us are making a ship.

Nothing has been done otherthan my atempt at that. :suspect:

Well I had only one part of a ship, that's the one I'd want. :thumbs:
