London Something Different and New?

A group of friends are intending to leave deepest darkest Hampshire and descend on the London at the beginning of February. We have previously done the Thames from Waterloo to Tower Bridge and all the tourist hot spots associated with the area, and we are now looking for some new places to photograph.
A couple of places have been suggested China Town and Carnaby Street, but that wont fill a day, have any regular London photographers got any suggestions for something a little different we can point our lens at.
Landscapes/Urban and people are popular subjects within the group.
