Ok folks. I'm moving house this week and have the week off work. Now i've got everything packed that i need. The move starts on Tuesday so tommorow i have a free day.

Now i could sit in and worry about everything going smoothly, or i could get out with the camera, guess what i'm going to do!!!

I have not got any ideas of where to go with the camera, so can somebody offer some inspiration.

Something within 20 miles or so of Basingstoke would be great, thanks all.

Not much help, but recently, I 'did' a wedding. The light was awful - harsh low sun, causing hard shadows across faces, very high contract etc. All day I cursed. Recently, having thought loads about it, I realised that i should have gone with it, instead of cursed my luck.
So, what I am saying is this - look at what you have - rain, low light - fine. Find a way to use those things. I don't know Basingstoke, but it must have something that you like or hate - why are you moving ? Has it been home for a long time ? What will you miss, what won't you miss ?
It is easy for me to say, but spend an hour or so just thinking of what the place means to you, then follow it up - the pictures may not be much, but the experience might !
Good luck,
Steve

If Christchurch is not too far away there is some lovely scenery... ?

Take photos of the move? Close ups of boxes. Your worried face in the mirror. A kettle.

:)why not take pics of all the places that were important to you while you lived in that house...eg....street road sign, local pub sign, local shop where you buy your papers, etc...that way you will have created lasting memories too..
