That's quite a collection of photos. I particularly liked the photos of the ships firing their big guns.
Many years ago I was at a military firing range in the control tower as a guest and there was a ship 6 miles out at sea. I could barely make it out. There was 50kt gusts and the sea was wild. At the end of the night before the range closed the ship fired a parachute flare and proceeded to launch 6 or 7 shells into the area before the flare burned out. Unbelievable accuracy and tremendous firepower. I'd not like to have had those guns fired at me in anger. Sadly no camera allowed.
