Good morning all,

I am in need of a little bit of advice and i hoping the forum might be able to help me. I am relatively new to photography as i started around a year ago. A couple of friends that are into photography go me hooked. I have no training in photography and i have not taken and courses.
At the moment i am just gaining experience by getting out there are getting the camera working. At some stage i would like to take my photography further. Not in such a respect to do this at a full time job as i am no where near that kind of level. What i mean it that i hope to get my photos out there and hopefully they may get used.
I have spoken with a friend of mine who tells he that freelance work is a great was to gain experience and using photo stock website. At the moment my photos either on my person website of on flickr

Anyone with any advice.
 
I think youve covered it pretty well John, I use stock Image sites to sell Photographs and I have my own web site,( you can get a free web site from WEEBLY) I pay for mine as it gives more control and more pages, just dont expect to earn a fortune in year one :lol:

Thank you for the very speedy reply. I have paid for my own website also and domain name but like i say other than i hobby i am completely new to this side of photography. I was unsure a little to weather in order to make it in this world i am of a too old age to begin as i am 29 years old and only have 18 months experience but the one thing i do have self drive as i work in the FMGC market as a assistant manager and i really want to get somewhere if photography. Not for £££ but as i have a love for it.

I will have a look at the stock photographs sites :).
 
Everyone on this forum had to start somewhere, just get your best images out there,it will come trust me :thumbs:

ps I have only 3 years Photographic experience and I sell Images regularly, mostly wildlife, but thats my thing :lol::lol:
