HI EVERYBODY,I WOULD LIKE TO DOWNLOAD PHOTOS &VIDEOS ON TO MY
COMPUTER FROM MY CAMERA USING A COMBO CARD READER,DOES ANYBODY
KNOW WHAT IS THE BEST SOFTWARE FOR DOING THIS,SOMETHING THAT
IS EASY TO USE.I AM NOT TOO TECNICALLY MINDED.KIND REGARDS TO ALL.

tell us what computer operating system you use. If it's XP/Vista you can do it using windows explorer.

Oh, and please use regular case text when posting. Upper case text is considered to be "shouting". :)

What operating system do you use?
It's most likely a job for your file manager. When you plug the card reader (with a card in it) into one of your USB ports, most operating systems currently used on desktops (Windows XP/Vista, OS X, Linux) are able to mount it and it should appear in your disk list as a removable media.
Then it's just copy and paste.

One other thing: writing in caps is considered shouting on the internet and it's not a particularly polite way to get post a message.
 
hi slapo,thanks for your speedy reply.i am using windows xp.i put my memory card
into the card reader and plugged it into the usb port,then up came windows media
player and all i got was the sound but no video picture.kind regards.joe

sorry about the capitals.but why bother to write if you have nothing to tell me.
