Software for quick compilations of pics?

Hi guys.

I was in Mothercare a few weeks ago and had a few pics of our little one done. They had a piece of software that allowed them to simply drag and drop a selection of photos into different compositions and styles - for instance, a larger photo full width with three small ones below a third width each.

Is there a program for OSX that will do similar?

Apologies if this doesn't make any sense, I've just finished nights and haven't been to bed yet!

picasa... free download. you can create your own collages and lay them out in various formats. Pretty nifty bit of software, good for quick edits too.
