Having created some very large panoramas of landscapes (approaching the gigapixel size), I'd like to share this, but of course, you're limited to the jpeg dimensions and downloading humongous jpeg files isn't exactly user friendly, so I've started looking at tools that create flash-based or other web-friendly methods of allowing you to view the ultra high res whilst keeping download times to a minimum.
There are a few obvious choices: Kolor's Panotour Pro and Garden Knome's Pano2VR programs.
But being stingey or rather not wanting to spend lots of money on what is just a trial / play, I cannot justify buying those for the occasional one-offs.
Do you know of any other programs which are free / very low cost (say less than £30) that I can play with?
I've tried Ryubin's flash and whilst promising, I think it doesn't accept very large source files.
I already have the single pano source file so don't need any stitching software, just the "make it web friendly" conversion
