Hi,

Of overseas in March with a Model to do some location shoots, looking for cheap but good Softboxes (Lastolite ezybox style)to use with speedlights, that are small enough to fit in my case for the flight, any one recommend any for me.

Thanks in advance :)

Um yeah. Lastolite ezybox.

My main camera bag is a Think Tank Airport Security which is carry on size. Ezybox fits in there when it's full of 25 kilos of cameras ;)

FWIW for size of box to pack down ratio it's hard to beat the non-folding Lencarta octaboxes. The rods split in 2 and the whole thing packs down very small indeed. You'd need an adapter to use with a speedlight though.

Um, OK. Plenty of people out there happy to infringe Lastolite's patents. I hear eBat is good for stuff like that.

Would go the Lastolite if they where going to use them allot, but as they will get used a few times a year the cost is to much.

I was going to suggest Westcott Apollo 28". It is very portable and folds as an umbrella. Even if it is outside your budget it is really worth its price so you could maybe consider. Plenty of reviews and info on the web.

Thanks looking for something cheap to be honest, something I wount worry about to much if it gets damaged traveling, as I say will be only used when heading overseas :D

westcott apollo for size, to go cheaper than lastolite then it has to be a lastolite rip off on ebay

What about buying it overseas...?

First trip is a short break in Cyprus, and been told by a mate who lives there, it's cheaper to buy over here :shake: and as it's only a 4 night trip, shooting from day one time would not be on my side.
