A good idea for winter maybe, but come summer I revert back to stockings and suspenders, much more air flow and comfort.

Most of my socks are golfing socks, there's a hole in one
I normally buy loads the same so I always have at least one matching pair

I wish mine were - I considered myself lucky to get down in single figures this afternoon!!!
